Thank you random generator - A GIVE-A-WAY

Many of you have already sent me congratulations on my latest give-a-way win via the January free motion challenge at Sew Cal Gal.  Thank you!  The random generator has indeed been generous since I joined the blogging community a couple of months ago.   I would normally call myself "one who never wins anything" as I have frequently been the purchaser of 9 of 10 raffle tickets, and the other one won...but it seems to not be true at the moment.  I am enjoying it!

AND, in the spirit of keeping the good Karma coming, I have decided to give-a-way something myself!  A "Walk in the Woods" Moda Charm pack.  I just couldn't wait until my 100th post, or some other milestone.  I want someone else to feel the joy of winning NOW!

Rules are simple: leave me a comment telling me what you might do with this lovely little charm pack.  If you are a follower, please leave a separate comment telling me that too, so you can get a bonus entry!  Yes, you can become a follower if you are not already one.  And yes, you can live outside the US. Just make sure that your settings are not set to be a "no-reply" blogger!

DID I mention, I will pay for the shipping?

I will draw the winner on Leap Day!  February 29th.

Good luck!!

  1. I just stumbled across your blot and am excited to see what its all about. I'm fairly new to quilting, but would like to donate some pillow cases to my local hospital. Its a bonus for both of us... I get some practice and patients get something made with love just for them!

  3. Hi! Thanks for the giveaway. I'm with Jaime above - though I'd make a simple quilt for a teenage girl at Mercy Children's Hospital. My son was there over the New Year's week after a sudden diagnoses of Juvenile Diabetes and he was given a wonderful quilt. I'd like to give back and they said they don't have many things for teenagers.

  4. I would like this charm pack to make charity quilts. KaHolly.blogspot made a call for little quilts for babys. If I won the charm pack, I'd use it for those.

  7. Yeah, I'm just under the wire to enter the give away. I'm also a member of non-winners club when it comes to raffle draws and lottery tickets. I became a follower of your blog this morning before I got to this post. I'm really enjoying your quilting adventures in the closet. So when you are drawing your winner.. "pick me" "pick me" "oh please... pick me" ~dancing around your blog with glee~

I had to shut off comments for a long time because I was just getting spammed. I'm going to try moderation for a while and see if that helps. Please leave me a comment.
