Still catching up - Building Blocks Tuesday

Still catching up!

We Bee With it July for Celeste

I made these fun Quasar Stars for Celeste in my We Bee With It group.  She is making a medallion quilt for Quilts of Valor and wanted these stars to go around the center.  I am very interested to see how it turns out!

We Bee With It July for Celeste

The chaos continues around here.  As if a new house, new projects, and soon a new school wasn't enough "new" for us, we also adopted a puppy over the weekend.  Well, actually we are in our one week trial period.  He is a very sweet boy, but has clearly had some trauma in his life.  He is good around the kids, but won't let my husband get near him.  We will need to make some progress on that front this week!  Wish us luck!

What blocks have you working on this week?  I would love to see.  Link up your fabulous blocks.  You put a lot of hard work into them - show them off!  This free linky will stay open until the first Monday of next month, but I will repost it every Tuesday until a new month starts.

  1. Beautiful blocks! We have a very anxious dog whom we've raised since puppyhood. We didn't socialize her enough and protect her from other big scary dogs, so she is very anxious and comes across as aggressive. It may take over a week to win him over if he's had a man traumatize him in the past. Playing ball with out dog wins her over almost instantly, and treats always help, as well as respecting the dog's space and not forcing it. I do wish you luck and that you fall in love with him!

Good Luck with the new puppy, hopefully he gets over his man-fright before the kids get too attached..
