Building Blocks Tuesday - vacation edition

I'm a little sad this morning; we are leaving Maui.  We've had an excellent trip this year.

It really couldn't be bad, with mornings like this:

morning at Kaanapali beach

And sunsets like this (almost every night):

Teaching babies to fly:

Trying out paddle boarding:

And just having fun in general:

I can't wait to come back!

Obviously, I don't have any blocks to share this Tuesday, but I've been checking up on everyone who has linked up this month.  There have been some great blocks shared.  I hope you have a minute to click through to check them all out.

What blocks have you working on?  I would love to see.  Link up your fabulous blocks.  You put a lot of hard work into them - show them off!  This free linky will stay open until the first Monday of next month, but I will repost it every Tuesday until a new month starts.

Building Blocks Tuesday - vacation edition 2

Morning!  We are having a fabulous vacation.  I've forgotten what day it is more than a handful of times already, so it must be a good vacation, right?  If you follow me on Instagram, I apologize for all the pictures of sunsets, etc.  They are just so pretty, I can't control myself.

Today, for the vacation edition of Building Blocks Tuesday, I would like to re-share one of the blocks I made for the Make it Modern Bee.

Make it Modern March 1.1
Quilter in the Closet: Grey and Purple Half  Rectangles
This one was for Becky at My Fabric Obsession.  She posted pictures of her finished quilt HERE.  Go check it out.  The block above might not look like much, but put together with our other beemate's blocks, the quilt turn out sensational!

Building Blocks Tuesday - vacation edition

3 x 6 solids mosaic
Quilter in the Closet: 3 x 6 blocks
Sorry this edition is a little late, today was our first day of vacation so my mind is elsewhere.

I thought I would share some of my older blocks today.  I made these blocks back in October of 2012 for the 3 x 6 bee.  I love them.  I love their tiltedness.  Perhaps these blocks need to be revisited?
