No need to adjust your computer screen these blocks are definitely tilted. These blocks are destined for my bee mates in the solids group of the 3 x 6 Bee. I found this lovely geometric pattern in the book, Fat Quarterly's Shape Workshop for Quilters.
I am still working on 6 more blocks for the paper pieced hive that I joined this quarter. I am finding that hive a lot more difficult to do. Partly because, since we are not limited to solids, choosing the right fabrics gets trickier. Plus, I have had a hard time deciding which block to use. I am still a bit new to paper piecing, and the first block I attempted was definitely more than I could handle. I have tested a few more, but it is crunch time and I need to settle on one. I suppose, next Tuesday I will have them all done and ready to show you.
