Urban Nine Patch blast from the past - Building Blocks Tuesday
Hey, y'all. I've got no new blocks today, so I thought I would show you some of the first bee blocks I made a long time ago. These are Urban Nine Patch blocks, pattern from Sew Kind of Wonderful and use their Quick Curve Ruler. When I saw this pattern, I really wanted to try it out. My bee-mates gave me the opportunity. Here it is over 2 years later, and I only have a table runner in this pattern for myself, but someday......
For those of you in the States, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving this week.
What blocks have you working on? I would love to see. Link up your fabulous blocks. You put a lot of hard work into them - show them off! This free linky will stay open until the first Monday of next month, but I will repost it every Tuesday until a new month starts.
Rules:
1) Please link up only to the page in your blog showing your wonderful blocks, not just the blog homepage. Flickr pictures are also OK.
2) Make sure to put your blog name as the description so people know where they are going or the name of your block!
3) Please grab my button and post it in your blog post or sidebar.

Granny Square - Building Blocks Tuesday
I've got no new blocks to share this week as I've been furiously working on my Michael Miller Pastel Challenge. It isn't going as well as I hoped, but I should have something to enter. Because of holiday plans, I have to finish this week even though the deadline is the end of the month.
I am sharing this little Granny Square block that I made ages ago for a bee mate. I do love Granny Squares! I really should make a quilt for myself with these adorable blocks, perhaps in Flea Market Fancy fabric - after all, I have been hoarding it for ages.

Blank check - Instagram Mini Quilt Swap item - a finish Friday
Finally! a finish! This mini is for my partner in the Instagram Mini Quilt Swap hosted by Curly Boy.
My partner didn't give me a whole lot to go, so I took that as a blank check! I know she likes both Modern and Traditional looks and favors the cool colors (just like me). I chose to tryout one of the blocks from Jaybird Quilt's Park Bench pattern, and then I quilted the daylights out of it - that's how I roll after all.
