Irons in the fire - WIP Wednesday

It's been a while since I posted a WIP Wednesday post, and boy do I have some stuff in progress!

Here's what I've been working on for the last couple of days.

Baby quilt (WIP)

I started with my favorite swirls, then I worked myself up to this point....

baby quilt (WIP)

Why oh why do I choose to make things difficult for myself by quilting a different motif in each color?  I suppose it is because it is fun too??  I've got 4 more colors to go before I'm done.

I've also got irons in a bunch of other fires, including my modern mini's, but I will share those when they are done.

As always, thanks for reading,

Jen

  2. Had to smile, I have wondered that myself, midway through the quilting:-)
For me , it is a great way to practice. Your variety looks really great, and I love the spiral texture, what batting are you using?

  9. Lovely quilting Jen Isn't it always the way that what seemed like a good idea at the beginning doesn't seem so smart halfway through :) I am sure that it will be worth all your effort in the end.

I LOVE comments, they make my day! Sometimes I am too distracted to respond right away, but I DO read them...always.

Obviously, I can't reply to you at all if you are a no reply blogger. Also, sorry to Anonymous commentors, too much spam lately. You will have to leave a comment another way.

Have a Super Sparkly Day!
