Christmas miracles - Building Blocks Tuesday

Another NY Beauty in progress

I am not saying that I have my mojo back; rather, I've been forcing myself to spend a little time at my machine this past week.  I'm finally at the quilting stages of this NY Beauty Circle of Flying Geese mini for poor, patient, Deb, who has been a saint by waiting for me to finish this mini.  I'm almost done with the SID and trying to decide how I am going to quilt the rest of this one.  It will take a Christmas miracle to get it to her in time for the holiday, but I am going to try.

What blocks have you working on this week?  I would love to see.  Link up your fabulous blocks.  You put a lot of hard work into them - show them off!  This free linky will stay open until the first Monday of next month, but I will repost it every Tuesday until a new month starts.

  4. Hi Jen, beautiful work as usual! It will be so worth the wait. I hope you are settling in well in your new home - your studio is looking great. Have you tried the new Pellon 100% cotton batting with 1/4" loft? I just used it for the first time and I am THRILLED with it. The other battings felt so very thin to me ( even though I'm new at this) I didn't like how unsubstantial they were. I just finished a 65" square I-Spy quilt and it FEELS like a nice quilt - not poofy or anything - just perfect and the FMQ texture when washed is great. I bought my first bolt (25 yards) of batting in this brand. Joannes had it on sale for $137 from $274 - online only special - thought you'd like to know. Have a wonderful safe holiday - hope to see you sometime soon, Pamela
